Daniel B. Levin
Born and raised in New York City, Daniel B. Levin is a third generation Documentary Filmmaker. His directorial debut "Captured" screened worldwide to critical acclaim. He was the Director of Photography for the second season of the Peabody Award-Winning and Emmy-Nominated Docuseries "Brick City" and has shot multiple HBO Documentaries including "Hard Times: Lost on Long Island" and "Prayer for a Perfect Season". Levin shot and directed his first feature narrative "Dirty Old Town" which was theatrically released in 2011 and was a Cinematographer on CNN’s New Series "Chicagoland". He also produced and shot the Feature Documentary "Love Child" which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and aired on HBO. In addition, Levin has Directed widely successful Branded Spots for Heineken and others and has garnered an endorsement and Camera Sponsorship from Canon. Dan is a Partner at The Cinemart.
